Account Manager

About the role

Responsible for ensuring the successful operations of a portfolio of accounts including client relations, enhancement sales, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assists team leaders in the Maintenance Division
• Plans and sells enhancements to clients
• Responsible for a set group of client accounts
• Oversees and manages maintenance enhancement crews on day-to-day operations
• Monitors the quality of work by routinely inspecting job sites
• Trains and develops team members in proper horticulture and equipment techniques
• Inputs information as necessary into data system
• Communicates effectively via phone, email, text, and face-to-face meetings with clients, vendors, and internal team members
• Establishes and maintains safety and security for all employees and customers
• Adopts a student mentality to grow and learn new skills

Requirements

• A landscape professional with a positive and engaging interpersonal style
• Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture or a related major preferred
• Strong horticulture knowledge and license is preferred
• Knowledge of southern climate horticultural practices and high-level property maintenance experience is a plus
• Passion for client service and communication
• Superb communication skills; knowledge of Spanish a plus
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize
• A valid Driver’s License
