Account Manager

About the role

MegaCorp Logistics is a fast-growing third-party logistics company ranked among the top 30 in the US. We are seeking Account Managers who can prospect and generate new business leads, build and nurture relationships, promote logistics services, manage operations teams, perform market analysis, negotiate rates and terms, monitor carrier performance, collaborate with internal teams, and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Possess strong organization and time management skills
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients
• Market logistics services to potential clients
• Manage and lead a team of operations personnel
• Analyze market trends and provide insights
• Negotiate contracts and agreements
• Evaluate and improve carrier performance
• Collaborate with other departments within the company
• Make informed business decisions based on data

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in customer service
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Logistics experience preferred
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus

The position is salaried full-time.

Pay

The base salary range is $40,000 - $50,000 with a 35% uncapped commission.
