About the Role
You will manage Macro's onsite teams and supply chain partners supporting corporate client environments in New York City and Washington, DC, ensuring exemplary Property and Facilities Management services are provided to the client stakeholders. This role emphasizes facilities management and workplace practices, financial experience, HS&E and environmental management, and contract and vendor management services.
Responsibilities
- Operational management of internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring service quality is continually improved and exceeds customer expectations.
- Ensure value for money through robust supplier management and performance measurement against service level agreements.
- Provide financial reporting to the client, maintain accountability for the account’s financial performance, manage risks, and ensure profitability.
- Manage and develop customer and supplier relationships effectively.
- Ensure consistency of service standards across the current client portfolio and any future properties.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable working environment.
- Act as the onsite interface between general contractors and subcontractors for special projects related to building operations.
- Internalize and prioritize complete components, bringing them together on time and within budget.
- Tender contracts with vendors to ensure best pricing and service.
- Manage and mentor a customer-centric team across multiple facilities, providing support on technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, Macro processes, and life safety procedures.
- Aid in the production of documentation, processes, and information for new or existing projects.
- Stay updated with industry best practices by maintaining relationships with peers across sectors.
- Maintain regular communication and share information with US and Canada Facilities Managers, as well as the UK team.
- Take ownership of ad hoc projects and initiatives as required.
- Ensure 360° communication, cascading information effectively to customers, peers, and the team, while keeping the management team fully informed.
- Line manage staff and maintain excellent customer relationships, including mentoring, development, coaching, and performance appraisal.
Qualifications
This role requires specific emphasis on and working knowledge of facilities management and workplace practices, financial experience within facilities management, HS&E and environmental management processes, as well as contract and vendor management services pertaining to the overall operations.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is within $130,000 and $150,000 per annum.
