Account Manager

Duties And Responsibilities

• Build and execute a sales and marketing strategy to capture new business at existing customers and identify new customers in a variety of new and emerging industries.
• Drive new sales opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and creating the right approach to reach them.
• Execute traditional and Go-To-Market sales strategies to capture market share, improve profit margin, and deliver untapped value for our customers.
• Initiate customer relationships and close business utilizing a proven sales process.
• Leverage our packaging capabilities as you work closely with our talented internal teams: design, pricing, customer service, estimating, production, procurement, and logistics – to design custom packaging solutions that meet our customers’ needs.
• Manage customer expectations and provide excellent customer service experience.
• Cultivate long-term customer relationships as you strive to meet their ongoing packaging needs.
• Maintain and monitor market, customer, and consumer trends that impact the business.

Required Education, Experience And Skills

• High school diploma / GED equivalent from an accredited institution and 2+ related sales experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field in lieu of experience.
• Experience planning, implementing, and analyzing new sales strategies.
• Experience in a manufacturing organization is a plus.
• Strong prospecting and business development skills.
• Excellent communication skills and superior resolution and decision-making skills.
