About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our team in Urbana, Illinois. This role will involve educating and working with community sponsor groups to host blood drives within our service territory.
Responsibilities
- Educate and work with community sponsor groups to host blood drives
- Network with potential blood drive hosts such as local businesses, community groups, and high schools
- Showcase marketing, sales, territory, and networking skills
- Travel within the Blood Center territory as needed
- Work in the field with blood drive partners most days
- Spend 1-2 days per week at home or in the ImpactLife office
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications preferred
- A combination of education and experience may be considered
- Sales experience including cold calls and business development required
- Previous experience in donor or volunteer recruitment preferred
- Must be able to report to the Urbana office on a routine basis
- Must be able to travel within the Blood Center territory and possess a valid driver's license
