About the role
The Account Manager role at Hydrolec is designed for a high-potential professional who wants to build a long-term career in B2B manufacturing. This role plays a critical part in Hydrolec’s go-to-market operations by:
- Managing inbound customer opportunities
- Owning a portfolio of smaller, “standard” customer accounts
- Serving as a dependable, professional point of contact for customers
- Driving incremental growth by understanding customer needs and identifying additional opportunities
- Responding promptly to inbound inquiries and requests
- Executing targeted outbound outreach programs to targeted customer lists
Qualifications
- Required: 3+ years of experience in customer service, account management, inside sales, or account coordination roles
- Exposure to manufacturing, industrial products, or B2B environments
- Direct experience interacting with customers via phone and email
- Experience in just-in-time manufacturing of custom-engineered components for OEMs
- Strong organization and time management skills in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
- Experience leading a sales, customer success, or account management team
- Experience in small/mid-sized companies or entrepreneurial environments
