Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Bookkeeping Account Manager to join our team in our Denver, CO office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm. This position is fully onsite (five days per week) during the initial onboarding period with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule (three days per week in the office).
Responsibilities
- Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Reviewing all income statements monthly and preparing monthly client checklist and sending to all clients to ensure they have accurate monthly data
- Reviewing general ledger accounts monthly and making monthly accruals and adjustments
- Managing client correspondence and information requests within one business day
- Providing feedback and support to internal teams
- Supporting accurate chart of accounts mapping
- Identifying data quality issues and errors, investigating data discrepancies and escalating
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities that expand and improve practices and services
- Performing other accounting activities as required
- Demonstrating firm core values consistently
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Minimum three (3) years or more of full-cycle bookkeeping related experience
- Preferred - Demonstrated experience working with Sage 50, QuickBooks, Xero and/or R365
- Strong proficiency in full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping
- Demonstrates a passion for bookkeeping, client servicing and seeing accurate results
- Must have the highest attention to detail
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently as well as lead and collaborate with others
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organization, planning and time management skills

Pay
The salary range for this role is from $70,000 – $90,000 in Denver, CO.
