Account Manager
Responsibilities
- Increase sales growth and profitability for the Active Beauty business across assigned U.S. accounts.
- Build relationships with key customers, understanding their brand strategies, our goals, and technical needs.
- Present Active Beauty and Specialty Ingredients solutions with a scientific and biological perspective.
- Develop strategic account plans, sales forecasts, budgets, and growth initiatives aligned with established KPIs.
- Manage pricing negotiations, rebates, and commercial agreements within established guidelines.
- Maintain a robust opportunity pipeline and provide regular updates on project progress and commercialization activities.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, research, and technical teams to provide customer-focused solutions.
- Lead customer presentations and communicate technical concepts in a compelling and business-relevant manner.
- Resolve customer concerns while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, customer activity, and competitive developments to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; scientific background in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- We would prefer an MBA.
- 5+ years of Account Management experience within the Ingredients industry.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into customer-focused solutions.
- Expertise in sales growth, customer relationship management, and business development.
- Ability to influence, collaborate across functions, and build long-term customer partnerships.

Pay
The established salary range for this position is $120,000–$150,000. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications.
