Account Manager
Summary Of Position
The Generative Account Manager is responsible for driving retention and profitable growth within an assigned portfolio of Strata 2 accounts. You will act as the primary commercial owner of the relationship, managing the full post-sale lifecycle from onboarding to renewal. Your goal is to prevent churn, identify opportunities for account growth, and serve as a trusted point of contact for our Generative customers.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Establish a regular, proactive communication cadence (e.g., monthly check-ins, semi-annual reviews) to maintain relationship health.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth, including increased order frequency and new product adoption.
- Handle inbound inquiries and service escalations from your assigned accounts, acting as a liaison with internal teams.
- Educate customers on new product features and best practices.
- Identify high-potential accounts suitable for graduation to Strata 1 or Strata 2 and collaborate with the Enterprise or Growth teams on a transition plan.
- Demonstrate passion for client brand and awareness of clients’ products/services, competitors, and target audience attributes.
- Keep updated and detailed CRM records on accounts responsible to maintain.
- Use Salesforce daily on all accounts.
- Maintain relationship with customer service, prepress, quality, scheduling, planning to manage each account effectively.
- Manage Accounts Receivables for your assigned accounts.
- Prepare sales information for customers.
- Develop buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts.
- Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.
- Manage current customer relationships and contracts.
- Help to resolve billing questions and issues.
- Provide consultation and client services as a primary contact and advisor for clients, and follow through on sensitive issues in a responsible manner while maintaining confidentiality, including quality problems, r&d projections, and new product launches.

- Participating in partnership and problem solving sessions, as well as product line trials with existing/new customers.

Experience And Education
- 2-4 years of experience in an account management or customer success role.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a large portfolio of accounts efficiently.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, customer-centric mindset.
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce) is required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay Range For This Role
The Pay Range For This Role Is 60,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Chicago)
