Account Manager

About the role

As a full-time Account Manager with EKG Security, you'll oversee a team of dedicated security officers and ensure they deliver exceptional service to our clients. This supervisory role requires high-level decision-making and problem-solving skills, directly impacting our day-to-day operations and team success.

Responsibilities

• Management and General Business Operations:
  • Oversee a uniformed security team and daily operations to ensure high-quality services and support business profitability
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security personnel
  • Conduct regular quality assurance inspections to measure officers' performance
  • Ensure team compliance with contractual requirements, including screening and training protocols
  • Assist with client communication, customer service, and administrative functions (payroll, incident reporting, fleet coordination, etc.)
• Discretion and Independent Judgment:
  • Review coverage needs and adjust operations to maintain adequate staffing levels
  • Independently investigate incidents and implement corrective or preventive measures
  • Make recommendations for hiring, discipline, and termination decisions; escalate issues as needed
  • Notify management about significant incidents or operational changes
• Team Supervision:
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and harassment-free workplace
  • Review and approve bi-weekly time cards and attendance records
  • Approve time-off requests
  • Track overtime and ensure compliance with guidelines
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations, identify employee strengths, and provide constructive feedback

Requirements

• Experience as an Armed Instructor in compliance with state licensing requirements (non-negotiable)
• Proven supervisory experience demonstrating discretion, sound judgment, and independent decision-making
• Physical ability to climb stairs, patrol properties on foot, work in various weather conditions, and stand/walk for extended periods (occasionally exceeding 8 hours)
• Proficiency with computers, tablets, smartphones, two-way radios, and other electronic communication devices
• Familiarity with site-specific security operations and software
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license

Training/Certification Requirements

• Armed license
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
• Ability to complete EKG Security Site Supervisor training
• Ability to learn and use the Paychex Flex system, including Time and Attendance functions

Schedule

Typical work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm. Availability to support employees after hours and during weekends is required.

Pay

$21/hour.
