Account Manager
About the role
As an Account Manager at DAUCH, you will be responsible for working directly with customers to collect information, sell additional products and services to current customers, and ensure customers' needs are met. This role will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with smaller scale accounts in automotive and other industries and will require regular travel to customers.
Responsibilities
- Cook up all customer-related activities internally within DAUCH, ensuring the end results are favorable with the customer.
- Ensure all customer requests are responded to and satisfied on time.
- Accurately detail all customer requirements to DAUCH for analysis and future implementation.
- Assist in program launch activities.
- Ensure accurate design levels from both an engineering and sales perspective.
- Review DAUCH UCRS responses for accuracy, coordinate revisions/corrections, and develop commercial proposals for presentation to customer.
- Track and report commercial status/activities for all DAUCH internal program reviews and meetings.
- Respond to Engineering Design Change Requests and develop/estimate commercial impact.
- Track and maintain business case changes to improve overall profitability (Engineering Change Tracking Sheets).
- Develop/Capture details for Re-billable Tooling submissions, and supervise all customer owed tooling & piece price purchase orders.
- In conjunction with the Director and Sales Manager, establish strategic marketing plans (short-and long-range) to achieve corporate objectives for DAUCH products.
- Ensure successful execution of strategic plans.
- Establish and efficiently operate administrative systems in support of DAUCH sales function.
- Coordinate customers volume analysis including operating premium and banking programs as required.
- Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
- Maintain the customer database.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in automotive sales, preferably within components.
- Experience in component sales in other industries (industrial, agricultural) preferred.
- Ability to travel to customers as needed.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with occasional travel required.
