Account Manager
About the role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven National Accounts Manager to grow and maintain relationships with our largest national customers. This role will be responsible for developing account strategies, driving revenue growth, negotiating contracts, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic account plans for national customers to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned national accounts, building trusted executive-level relationships and understanding client business objectives.
Identify opportunities to expand product/service adoption within existing accounts and lead cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable agreements while balancing company objectives and customer needs.
Cook up internal resources (sales, operations, marketing, customer success, and finance) to ensure timely delivery and a superior customer experience.
Monitor account performance and KPIs, prepare regular business reviews, and present recommendations to senior management and clients.
Manage renewals and retention programs to minimize churn and maximize lifetime value of national accounts.
Resolve escalations and complex service issues promptly and professionally, implementing process improvements to prevent recurrence.
Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and changes in client markets to proactively advise customers and inform product roadmap and sales strategy.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in national or strategic account management, enterprise sales, or a related role, preferably in construction / similar.
Relationship driven sales / customer account management.
Skills
Strong sales acumen.
Excellent account management and leadership skills.
