About the role
Join Coverdash’s Commercial Risk Unit as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager. In this role, you will build and manage small to mid-sized commercial accounts, quote and rate renewals, support the growth of our in-house brokers and managers, and partner with customer success to manage client needs while developing deep expertise in commercial P&C Insurance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial P&C accounts up to $10MM in annual premium
- Serve as primary point of contact for client servicing, renewals, and coverage questions
- Own the renewal process end to end, including proactive renewal conversations prior to quote delivery
- Clearly explain coverage, pricing, and policy changes
- Manage client expectations and protect the client experience during underwriting delays, market constraints, or carrier issues
- Resolve client concerns and escalate internally when needed to ensure timely resolution
- Execute core policy servicing, including endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, billing coordination, and cancellations
- Maintain accurate client records in AMS and CRM
- Partner with carriers, wholesalers, and internal teams to support renewal and servicing outcomes
- Adhere to service standards, SLAs, and escalation protocols
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial P&C experience in account management, brokerage, or customer success
- Active Property & Casualty license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of commercial P&C coverages, renewals, endorsements, and servicing requirements
- Proven ability to own the renewal process end to end, including proactive client consultations prior to quoting
- Congnitive client-facing presence with experience managing escalations and protecting the client experience during underwriting or carrier challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in plain language
- Demonstrated success managing and retaining large or complex books of business
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision making skills in high volume environments
- Advanced proficiency with CRM and AMS platforms and core business tools
Qualifications
- Nice to have: Experience improving workflows, processes, or operational efficiency
- Nice to have: Prior experience in an insurtech, high-growth, or startup environment
Skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with CRM and AMS platforms

Schedule
Remote-first role, work from anywhere in the US. NYC office available for in-person collaboration. Working hours aligned to your time zone: East Coast: 9:00am to 6:00pm ET, West Coast: 8:00am to 5:00pm PT
