About the role
We are seeking an Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves acting as a representative for Contractor/Trade Ally organizations, managing relationships, resolving concerns, and selling technical products/services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop accounts for medium-size kWh goals for one or more programs.
- Manage and resolve contractor/Trade Ally concerns promptly.
- Track and record customer interactions according to corporation's procedures.
- Verify product installations and ensure paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Sell technical products/services, train on specifications, and communicate program changes.
- Develop strategies to increase savings acquisition.
- Research and analyze technical specifications and requirements.
- Prepare sales forecasts.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, determine solutions, and recommend improvements.
- Design and deliver proposals.
- Document customer and contractor interactions to meet program requirements.
- Provide technical advice, guidance, and training to contractors.
- Travel throughout a defined territory in a company-provided vehicle.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant industry experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications may substitute for work experience.
- Meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with transportation regulations.
Qualifications
Must reside in Michigan. No relocation assistance provided.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
Compensation range is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, etc.
Schedule
The role requires travel throughout a defined territory in a company-provided vehicle.
