Account Manager
About the role
City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a highly organized relationship manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial clients across the Austin area. This role is ideal for someone with route-based service experience who is used to managing multiple customers, solving problems quickly, and growing business within existing accounts. Professionals who have succeeded in roles with companies like Cintas, Aramark, UniFirst, Terminix, Ecolab, or similar route-service organizations often transition very well into this position.
You will manage a territory of commercial accounts, ensure excellent service while identifying opportunities to grow the relationship.
This role is a mix of operations management, customer service, and account growth.
City Wide is the largest management company in the building maintenance industry, helping businesses outsource over 20 different facility services. Our mission is to simplify facility management for our clients while delivering consistent, high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with 50+ commercial clients
- Conduct regular facility inspections and service reviews
- Coordinate service delivery with subcontractor crews
- Quickly resolve service issues and customer concerns
- Identify and sell additional services (floor care, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, pressure washing, etc.)
- Maintain client visit notes and account activity in CRM
- Ensure consistent service quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- 2+ years outside B2B account management experience, building maintenance or facility management preferred but not required
- 2+ years track record of success in a client retention role, with goals and metrics to support
- Highly detail-oriented and excellent follow-through on commitments
- Positive and outgoing personality; great at building relationships
- Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills
