Position
Air Draulics is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role involves partnering with an experienced inside sales team to satisfy current customers and open new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a territory to grow earnings by developing repeat relationships in existing accounts and opening new business
- Develop consultative selling approach when calling on engineers, purchasing, and others to learn about their applications and analyze their needs
- Conduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services
- Partner with manufacturer reps and our support team to help spec in products/systems that will enhance customer performance
- Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactions
- Organize and conduct training sessions for customers, survey market and competitive conditions
- Monitor customer complaints, follow up on outstanding orders, and make emergency calls, night calls, and deliveries as required
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience in similar industries
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred; High school diploma or equivalent
- Selling fluid power and control or heat or cooling systems. Pumps and motors, rotary products and automation control systems
- Fluid Power certification preferred
