Account Management Division Manager
Job Description
The Account Managment Division Manager will work cooperatively with Safefoods, A division of Fortrex, management team, team members, and customers to ensure the streamlined ordering, delivery, and application of our products. This role involves managing and controlling the budgeted costs of chemicals, equipment, freight/fuel, and labor within your territory while maintaining open communication with management about any variances.
You will play a critical role in both maintaining existing customer relationships and generating new business opportunities. Communicate regularly with key plants in the geographical area to ensure day to day processes are being performed effectively and efficiently. Manage the approval process for expenses of territory personnel. Supervise a team of Account Management Area Managers and Account Managers to achieve stated goals and serve our customers with excellence. Consistently seek ways to reduce cost and increase efficiency for the company and our customers. Constantly find new business expansion in the geographical area assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Associate's degree or 7-10 years in sanitation/food processing industry.
- Area Manager or equivalent experience (18 months experience at this level preferred).
- Display strong managerial skills including decision-making and conflict resolution.
- Maintain integrity, honesty, initiative, and customer focus.
- Possess a valid and active driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Work experience or education in Food & RTE Processing Operations, Quality Assurance, or Sanitation.
- Previous experience in leading a sales team in the Food, Beverage, Dairy, and RTE industry.
