Account Maintenance Specialist

Responsibilities
- Process new account applications as well as maintain account updates as requested.
- Work with our CFS department in addition to sales reps for proper account coding, maintenance approvals, and terms updates.
- Accurately establish new accounts within UOPS adhering to all new account set up regulations and procedures.
- Obtain required paperwork from various departments as needed.
- Update billing and shipping addresses with proper approvals from CFS reps.
- Hardcode accounts with appropriate discount classes and dating terms.
- Updates packing list preferences, back order time limits, and credit reps as requested.
- Examine all tax paperwork and obtain proper signatures (Customer and Upper Management) and any additional documents to ensure compliance.
- Initiates account closures by requesting approvals from upper management and CFS reps.
- All work must be QC'd, signed and scanned on shared drive once complete.
- Works with customer service to receive updated tax documents, billing address requests, and orders if needed.
- Initiates freight routing set up through transportation for freight forwards and other special accounts.
- Maintains account records and stats for all account updates.
- Works closely with Order Processing to ensure accounts are set up and orders sent back in a timely manner as it relates to events etc.
- Title Maintenance (price points, status changes etc)
Qualifications
- Analytical ability in relation to our Order Processing / Order management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly.
- Critical Thinking Decision making skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Strong PC Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. SCHEDULED WORK HOURS: Monday- Friday 8:30am – 5pm
