Account Executive - West Virginia
About the Role
As an Outside Account Executive for West Virginia, you will be accountable for selling, promoting, and delivering a portfolio of products and services to accounts in targeted assigned market segments, contributing to CCS Medical sales and profit goals.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and grows business within an assigned territory by developing an effective planning process (a business plan) and maintaining complete records of all high-volume accounts, including focused self-test markets and top healthcare providers.
- Meets or exceeds customer expectations by sustaining regular contact and building superior relationships with key healthcare decision-makers and influencers.
- Promotes customer brand loyalty by participating in or joining regional or local professional organizations that serve healthcare providers and consumers.
- Demonstrates competency in the company’s products and services by managing the entire sales process, presenting (oral and written) all aspects of the company’s products, and maintaining working knowledge of existing marketing programs.
- Builds CCS Medical’s image as a leader in providing medical supplies by engaging in promotional activities and attending conventions, meetings, and symposiums as assigned.
- Practices expense control by keeping within a defined budget and managing given resources.
- Competently communicates daily using all available mediums (phone, mail, email) to report data on industry, territory, market trends, promotions, and competitive activity.
- Primary sales focus involves gaining the recommendation of medical providers (e.g., physicians, nurses, third-party payer personnel); secondary emphasis is ensuring patient or consumer access to products or services through CCS Medical; a third responsibility is working closely with manufacturer sales reps to develop key targets and build the customer base.
- Maintains and inputs sales territory records, completes sales data, and provides promotional information.
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality due to access to sensitive information.
- Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet departmental needs.
- Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and private insurance regulations and requirements.
- Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university preferred, and three years of sales experience or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two or more years of outside sales experience is preferred.
- Uses appropriate interpersonal style and communications methods with prospective clients to gain acceptance of products, services, and ideas.
- Identifies opportunities and takes action to build and maintain strategic relationships between one’s area and other teams, departments, customers, or organizations to achieve business goals.
