Account Executive, Spend Cross-Sell
About the role
The Spend Cross-Sell Account Executive role at Rippling is designed for sales professionals who excel in a dynamic, strategic setting. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of quota-carrying experience in a full-cycle closing role, with strong prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing skills. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience selling to mid-market-sized businesses, possess the ability to engage with C-level executives and finance teams, and demonstrate proficiency in discussing Rippling's value proposition.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-velocity sales cycle while collaborating closely with the HR Account Management team to drive Spend opportunities for current Rippling customers.
- Act as a strategic partner to the HR Account Management team, aligning on account and deal strategies.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for Rippling Spend, cross-selling into Rippling Payroll and HR customers.
- Discuss Rippling's value proposition with C-level executives, finance teams, and decision-makers.
- Conduct outbound prospecting to Rippling's existing customer base and deliver product demonstrations.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach and leverage analytical and quantitative skills.
- Consistently hit or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Show high adaptability and understanding of change within the evolving startup landscape.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Previous experience as a solutions consultant or architect is preferred.
- Experience selling Fintech or Spend Management solutions is advantageous.
