About the role

Spectrum Community Solutions is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented sales professional to join our team. This strategic role involves implementing innovative sales strategies to secure our services in multiple dwelling unit (MDU) properties, contributing to our organization's growth and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop strategic sales presentations to secure long-term Return on Equity (R.O.E.) agreements with MDUs and Single Family Units (SFUs).
  • Exceed quarterly revenue sales quotas across all products, including High Speed Data (HSD), video, managed Wi-Fi, and other bulk services.
  • Build consultative relationships with high-level clientele to offer the best products/services and maximize client Net Operating Income (NOI).
  • Negotiate competitive MDU sales agreements while navigating the legal redline process and leveraging product knowledge to develop proposals and contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
  • Up to 1+ year(s) of strategic planning and problem-solving skills to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Up to 1+ year(s) of experience navigating long sales cycles to manage and close complex deals.
  • Proven negotiation skills and contract proposal/review experience.
  • Working knowledge of computer networking, LAN/WAN technologies, and fiber-connected networks.
  • Detail-oriented for accurate forecasting and tracking customer interactions.
  • Effective communicator via phone, email, and WebEx to enhance client relationships.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities for organization and efficiency.
  • Consultative sales experience to meet client needs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to build rapport.
  • Self-motivation and efficiency within deadlines for productivity.
  • Adaptable communication style and professional poise to connect with stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record within company-required standards, and auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Automated reporting and analysis application.
  • Recent experience negotiating long-term R.O.E. agreements with MDU.
  • Familiarity with the cable industry for business context.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably selling data, voice, and video solutions in an MDU environment.
  • 3-5+ years of consultative sales experience.
  • 3+ years drafting and negotiating proposals and contracts in the cable television, residential property management, or real estate development industries.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Office environment. Travel as required, up to 50% of the time. Travel will primarily include day trips with occasional overnight travel required.

Qualifications

Must be able to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Skills

Must have the ability to negotiate effectively and review contracts.
