About the role
Our Account Executives operate in a technical wholesale lending environment where success comes from becoming a trusted lending resource to mortgage brokers and bankers.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with mortgage brokers and bankers
- Review scenarios and structure deals prior to submission
- Understand DSCR and commercial underwriting concepts (LTV, cash flow, property types)
- Educate partners on guidelines and execution strategy
- Work directly with underwriting and operations to close loans
- Generate repeat production through expertise and responsiveness
Requirements
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills with a proven ability to build lasting client relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time-management and follow-up abilities
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales productivity tools
- Knowledge of mortgage products, lending processes, and industry terminology preferred
- Professional demeanor with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills with experience building and scaling sales teams
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in mortgage sales, financial services sales, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, pipeline management, and achieving sales targets
- Demonstrated success recruiting, managing, and developing sales professionals
