New Business Prospecting
- Proactively identify and engage SMB prospects through cold calling, social selling, email outreach, and networking.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline aligned to Mimecast’s growth goals.
Pipeline Growth
- Deliver compelling product demos highlighting Mimecast’s value for SMB customers.
- Establish trust with decision-makers by understanding pain points and business needs.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Sales Expertise
- Solid foundation in new business acquisition, especially within SMB-focused technology or SaaS environments.
- Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in consistently achieving sales goals.
Technical Understanding
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or email management solutions.
Relationship Skills
- Strong rapport-building and negotiation abilities.
Self-Starter Mindset
- Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting.
CRM Skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Market Awareness
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and Mimecast’s evolving product suite.
Benefits
The US OTE range for this position is $112,000-$168,000 + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire on-target earnings for this position. This position may also be eligible for other related benefits.
Pay
This position is eligible for a base salary ranging from $112,000 to $168,000, plus bonuses and other benefits.
Schedule
This is a hybrid position located in our Lexington, MA office.
