Account Executive, SMB
Lumion is the AI-first operating system for trade and technical schools. We run the entire student journey, from first inquiry to graduation, across four pillars: engagement, enrollment, payments, and success. Underneath it all is a licensed, in-house payments and servicing engine, NMLS-licensed in 48 states, with a 91.6% collection rate across 36 months. America has a massive skilled trades shortage, and the schools that train electricians, welders, and nurses are the bottleneck. Seven years in, we power 500+ schools, and we're backed by TTV Capital and Tusk Venture Partners.
About the role
You own the full cycle on every deal in your book: prospecting through close, with no handoff to someone else mid-deal. This is a volume motion—fast cycles, a repeatable playbook, and a full pipeline. The schools you close drive Lumion’s next referral and growth.
Responsibilities
- Run discovery, demos, and proposals with school owners and directors.
- Manage a high volume of concurrent deals from prospecting through negotiation and close.
- Maintain a clean CRM and accurate forecast to ensure data integrity for the team.
- Relay market feedback—pricing objections, competitor mentions, and product gaps—to product and marketing teams.
- Ensure smooth handoffs to Customer Success for seamless onboarding.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of full-cycle, new-business sales experience with a proven track record of hitting quota.
- Ability to thrive in a high-velocity, high-volume sales environment without losing organization or composure.
- Competitive, coachable, and driven by results—you want a leaderboard, not just a paycheck.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and based in-office in South Jordan, Utah.
Benefits
- Base salary + uncapped commission.
- Meaningful stock options tied to revenue.
- Unlimited PTO.
- 401(k).
- Health, dental, and vision reimbursement.
- $200/month tech stipend and $100/month wellness stipend.
Why you'll want this role
- Ownership: Full-cycle control of your book from day one.
- Equity: Stock tied directly to revenue—every close increases your stake.
- Impact: The schools you close train the electricians, nurses, and welders the country needs.
- Speed: Fast cycles, fast feedback, and fast commission payouts.
