Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate terms of sales and agreements, driving the closing of sales with both new and existing customers.
- Create detailed and compelling proposal documents for new sales opportunities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met and that communication flows smoothly between customers and internal teams.
- Respond to customer inquiries and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve questions and identify business opportunities.
- Leverage databases and information sources to find relevant contacts and initiate outreach.
- Develop prospect lists in collaboration with sales leadership, and execute email campaigns targeting potential clients.
- Initiate solution-oriented conversations with prospective clients to uncover their needs and present tailored IT solutions.
- Perform regular follow-up to keep prospects engaged and warm throughout the sales process.
- Manage a core group of assigned existing customers, proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services.
- Proactively manage your sales funnel and report weekly on new opportunities, challenges, and pipeline growth.
- Work cross-functionally within the organization to utilize Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in resolving customer requests.
- Schedule and conduct both virtual and in-person meetings with customers and prospects to present solutions and discuss potential partnerships.
- Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills during customer meetings, ensuring clear communication of service offerings and value propositions.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and goals for new and existing customers, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Professional, preferably in the IT or MSP space.
- Strong ability to achieve and exceed quarterly sales quotas, with a focus on acquiring both new and existing customers.
- Demonstrated success in generating a quantifiable pipeline of sales opportunities and driving them through the sales cycle.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Familiarity with the products and services offered in an IT or MSP environment.
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and passionate about achieving sales goals.
- Exceptional selling, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations tailored to various audiences.
- Strong relationship management skills, with an openness to coaching and constructive feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
