As an Account Executive, Small City, you’ll own the full sales cycle for law enforcement agencies with 16–40 sworn officers, managing a larger, more complex set of accounts while building trusted, long-term customer relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)
  • This role is based out of our Scottsdale office with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Friday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
  • Reports to: Inside Sales Manager
  • - Own the entire sales cycle for a defined territory, from prospecting and discovery through close and expansion
  • - Manage a book of business focused on small city law enforcement agencies (16–40 sworn officers)
  • - Drive pipeline through a balanced mix of outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities
  • - Build relationships with key law enforcement stakeholders and decision-makers
  • - Deliver tailored product demonstrations via phone, web conferencing, and onsite visits
  • - Sell Axon’s full ecosystem of hardware, software, and service solutions
  • - Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including renewals and upsells
  • - Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking in Salesforce
  • - Participate in ongoing training to deepen product, industry, and competitive expertise
  • - Travel to client sites, conferences, and roadshows as needed (up to 20%)

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2–3 years of full-cycle sales experience, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing
  • Proven success in a quota-carrying, commission-driven role
  • Experience managing multiple accounts and longer sales cycles
  • Strong CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Coachable, collaborative, and motivated by results
  • Travel - 20%
