About the Role and Team
This fully remote position connects with clinical researchers needing to enroll participants in their studies; helps to strategically position our offerings and expand our reach to researchers and universities nationwide. The account executive enjoys client-facing engagements and can clearly articulate the value of our services. This position is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing sales opportunities with new and existing clients, driving the sales process from lead qualification through contract negotiation and closing. The account executive works closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive growth, achieve sales targets, and build long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in sales, business development or a customer-facing role. (B2B SaaS or eClinical industry experience a plus)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Sales Acumen: Passion for sales and eagerness to learn the sales process, products, and industry.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office, and communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack).
- Problem-Solving: Adaptability to client needs and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Self-Motivation: Proactive and accountable, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Nice to Have
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare sales and industry trends.
- Multi-Channel Selling: Experience with both inbound and outbound sales strategies.
- Sales Training: Formal sales training or certification.
