Account Executive - Online Division - Grand Canyon University

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Albuquerque, NM territory in this unique community-based opportunity. Must live within 30 miles of Albuquerque, NM. New hire training will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.
Starting salary is $75,000 per year with an earning potential of a six-figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.
Responsibilities
As an Account Executive, a typical week might include the following:
- Strategy and execution: consistently identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory, build awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business, and drive inquiry generation. Shape high-impact partnerships for your territory and execute daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
- Partner and influencer: use your passion for serving others to provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through a variety of mediums. Champion the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth, whether in-person, over the phone, or via email.
- Heart and Hustle: work independently in this remote role with ambitious targets. Use out-of-the-box critical thinking skills to support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process, guiding them on the right path toward a successful online learning experience.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree required.
- No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
- Outstanding time management skills: demonstrate ability to prioritize competing priorities, even while traveling.
- Clear communication skills: comfortable communicating in person, in writing, and on the phone, with well-developed listening skills.
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed: volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked and take ownership of your time with students.
- High emotional intelligence: coach a diverse range of students, each with unique circumstances, and develop and nurture partner relationships. Ability to demonstrate empathy is key.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule. Requires extensive travel in your territory, a clean driving record, and ability to use your personal vehicle. Some events may require evening and/or weekend availability.
- Computer literacy: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with CRM tools is a bonus.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of demonstrated success in outside business development, consultative sales, or account management.
- Relevant industry-related professional experience is a plus.

Pay
