About the role
The Account Executive is responsible for managing accounts across the Northeast Ohio territory. They leverage consultative selling approaches to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, facilitate communication on customer’s business problems, and meet or exceed sales quotas. The role involves educating customers and assisting in sales process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Grow and expand relationships with SME/SMB clients across defined sales territories and meet or exceed assigned sales quotas.
- Leverage consultative selling approaches to identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers.
- Work with partner sales personnel to extend reach and drive adoption of Barracuda products and solutions.
- Deliver effective sales demonstrations and presentations covering the Barracuda Networks portfolio.
- Support the creation of clear goals and accurate forecasting through detailed territory plans.
- Facilitate complex accounts and transaction reporting to account managers and the leadership team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations affecting target markets.
- Meet sales objectives and support the development of go-to-market strategies for partnerships.
- Utilize a consultative selling approach to educate channel partners and end-users, providing timely follow-up, closure, and tracking of all identified opportunities.
- Leverage specialized sales knowledge to address a variety of issues and projects within the team.
- Work in a project-oriented manner, contributing toward team-level goals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
