The Account Executive, Mortgage role is designed for a consultative sales professional who understands the mortgage industry and can guide lenders through complex verification challenges. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to technical evaluation, negotiation, and closing.
About the Role
This role combines deep industry expertise with a product-led approach, helping customers improve operational efficiency and make smarter verification decisions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design solutions that align with lender workflows and technology environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with demonstrated success selling to mortgage lenders or within the mortgage technology ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of mortgage origination workflows and how verification solutions support lending operations.
- Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor by combining sales expertise with strong product and industry knowledge.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through close.
- Comfort discussing technical concepts, integrations, APIs, and technology evaluations with business and technical buyers.
- Able to quickly learn products, technical documentation, and operational processes to communicate value effectively.
- Excellent discovery, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in mortgage technology, fintech, verification solutions, or high-growth environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with VOIE/VOA/VOE processes, GSE programs, and mortgage platforms such as POS and LOS systems is preferred.
