Account Executive, Mid Market
About the role
We’re looking for an Account Executive to drive growth in our Mid-Market book of business. This role will report to the VP of Commercial Sales. Similarweb’s digital intelligence solutions serve thousands of customers across many different industries and use cases around the world, and we’ve just scratched the surface of our addressable market. You’ll control the entire sales cycle, develop critical relationships with mid-sized enterprise accounts, and partner closely with leadership to help us refine our approach and scale up the team.

Responsibilities
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to effectively position our solutions
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Development teams to create and execute effective sales programs
- Opportunity Generation: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through various channels, including inbound leads and outbound prospecting
- Sales Presentations: Conduct product walkthroughs and presentations tailored to the unique needs of your customers and our value proposition
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present customized proposals and contracts to potential clients
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in Salesforce
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience in managing consultative sales processes with mid-sized enterprise accounts
- A demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets for high-end SaaS sales
- Ability to confidently present in front of important clients and stakeholders
- Highly collaborative, using a direct and honest approach to deliver customer success
- High level of energy and activity every day to keep your pipeline full
A PLUS: Has a clear understanding of current digital marketing trends, including SEO, content marketing, PPC, social and display advertising.

Pay
The base salary range for this position in the Burlington, Massachusetts area is $70,000 to $90,000. In addition, this position is eligible to participate in the company’s sales incentive plan, with a maximum target OTE of up to $180,000, depending upon the final terms of employment and achievement of established targets. Individual compensation is based upon a number of factors, including qualifications and relevant experience. The base salary range above is for the Burlington, Massachusetts area, and could vary for candidates in other locations.
