About the role

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales for New Business, the Account Executive is responsible for finding, developing, and closing business with new prospects. You will meet and exceed goals through efficient opportunity management, detailed tracking of sales targets/prospects, customer presentations/product demonstrations, and sales negotiation/closing. Using your knowledge of the staffing industry, its challenges, and Bullhorn solutions, you will provide an incredible customer experience during the sales cycle, enabling Bullhorn clients to manage and grow their business.

A typical day will include:

  • Generating a significant pipeline through outbound prospecting, including cold calls, email campaigns, and social selling
  • Establishing relationships and communicating Bullhorn's value proposition to key decision-makers at prospects
  • Navigating small to medium staffing firms to build relationships with necessary contacts and uncover their challenges to diagnose solutions with Bullhorn’s products
  • Developing relationships over time to understand their business and act as a technology consultant
  • Monitoring sales activity (e.g., calling prospects, qualifying companies, scheduling demonstrations, scoping implementations) within Bullhorn CRM
  • Maintaining an accurate and comprehensive sales pipeline, recording reasons for opportunities won and lost to improve Bullhorn products and the sales process

Requirements

This role is a fit for you if you have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing sales role (recruitment or SaaS preferred, but not essential)
  • Passion for building relationships and a proven track record of using problem-solving and interpersonal skills to achieve goals
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time well to maximize efficiency with inbound and outbound leads and opportunities
  • Interest in providing solutions and solving problems for passionate start-up and mid-market businesses
  • Desire for growth through coaching and guidance, with an interest in developing your sales skill-set and learning from others
  • An innovative, creative, and pioneering attitude toward prospecting, sales processes, and client interactions, with a willingness to try new approaches
  • A strong interest in AI and automation, motivated to quickly become confident in how these solutions create real business value

Pay

The annual on-target earnings (OTE) for this role are $120,000 - $130,000, including a base salary of $60,000 - $65,000 plus commission.
