Account Executive (Inside Sales)
About the role
Allstate Floral is dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences through its sales team. The Account Executive - Inside Sales role focuses on establishing partnerships with customers, maximizing sales, and managing customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Proactively promote Allstate Floral products, including floral, greenery, accessories, seasonal, holiday, furniture, and merchandising solutions.
- Serve as the customer’s point of contact, gaining insights into their business needs and opportunities.
- Regularly contact customers via phone/email with onsite visits, ensuring Allstate Floral products, training, and POP are current.
- Develop new business through referrals, networking, and cold calling.
- Maintain customer and sales activity data in Salesforce.com.
- Attend trade shows to connect with new and existing customers and prospects.
- Resolve customer issues and manage/escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Review accounts regularly to identify additional sales opportunities and maximize sales in assigned markets/categories.
- Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account.

Travel
This position requires extensive travel primarily during business days but may include select weekends. Domestic or local travel is expected for customer meetings, vendor conferences, training, trade shows, and showroom set-ups that may last for multiple days at a time; approximately 25%-50%.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- 5-7+ years working with B2B sales
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics, and product development
- Experience working with Major Retail domestically and internationally (Canada)
- Utilize data analytics tools and key performance indicators to monitor sales performance
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotions with clients and monitor competitive pricing to maintain profitability while remaining competitive in the market
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to network with potential clients
- Prepare sales reports, reviews, and other paperwork to evaluate performance results periodically and make adjustments as needed.
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred

The Account Executive is also expected to participate in showroom set-ups/resets with the team. Pay
SALARY RANGE (depending on experience): $70,305 - $76,500 per year
