About the role
We are seeking an experienced education leader to join our dynamic sales team as an Account Executive. The ideal candidate will leverage their background in K-12 education to drive new school accounts and build a strong pipeline of business.
Responsibilities
- Prolifically prospect through our large database of schools to identify new business opportunities.
- Qualify prospects and build strategic relationships with decision-makers such as Principals, Teachers, and Administrators.
- Manage the full sales process, including call management, proposal preparation, and customer relationship maintenance.
- Utilize effective sales strategies to cultivate sales and manage your territory.
- Track your sales prospects and closed accounts using our Salesforce CRM.
- Become an expert in our educational program offerings and value proposition.
- Attend school district meetings and conferences on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the sales and education industry, specifically selling to public, private, or charter schools.
- Prior experience with contract negotiations.
- A hunter mentality with a proven track record of daily prospecting to achieve sales quotas.
- Productive energy and discipline to effectively manage your time and territory to achieve sales results.
- Excellent communication and listening skills to build strong customer relationships.
- Passionate sales individuals who would love making a difference in children’s lives.
- Comfortable with remote communication, collaboration, and training.
- Results-oriented, ambitious, goal-oriented, and accountable.
Benefits
- Compensation: Base Salary $70K plus commission, with first year OTE expected to be $110K - $150K.
