Account Executive I
About the role
MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is seeking Account Executives I and II to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex accounts and strategic key accounts, with a focus on Medicare Part D experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage book of business in pursuit of fiscal revenue targets as set by management
- Develop and manage the account team annual strategic plan for assigned book of business
- Ensure high degree of client satisfaction and retention through demonstrable results and by effectively leading the service team
- Proactively address client needs and escalate issues where appropriate
- Provide feedback on strategic plan performance and outcomes to management
- Mentor new Account Executives through onboarding process
- Monitor client service continuum and address service delivery issues
- Collaborate with internal leaders for problem-solving and successful outcomes
- Manage and prioritize elements of negotiations within scope of total client relationship
- Organize and lead client business planning meetings and financial performance reviews
- Manage and oversee client contract renewals including RFP and negotiation processes
- Support and assist in sales and prospect presentations
- Support the implementation process for new clients
- Provide support to matters escalated by the client team
Qualifications
- Level I: Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university, 3-7 years related PBM experience
- Level II: Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university, 7-10+ years related experience in a PBM environment
- Outstanding knowledge of the health benefits arena, government prescription programs, preferably in pharmacy benefits management
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills, strong computer and analytic skills, including experience creating and delivering client presentations
- Excellent communication, writing, and public presentation skills essential
Skills
- Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
- Registered Pharmacist in the State of California or equivalent state preferred

Pay
$85,357 - $115,232 - $145,107 for Account Executive I
$102,260 - $140,608 - $178,956 for Account Executive II
Schedule
This is an exempt level position requiring the incumbent to work the hours required to fully accomplish job responsibilities and reasonable meet deadlines for work deliverables. The individual must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required. Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Domestic travel of up to 35% of the time may be required.
