Account Executive -Hyperscaler

Responsibilities
Manage a premier hyperscale territory by acting as the primary influencer and strategic orchestrator for all business opportunities. Partner with a technical solutions engineer to develop a strategic account plan as CEO’s / CTO’s of your business. Build and sustain long-term executive relationships to understand customer goals and identify high-impact cross-sell opportunities. Coordinate cross-functional teams and specialist resources to drive complex sales cycles from prospecting to co-development, through to deployment. Analyze market dynamics and customer data to create accurate forecasts and secure long-term revenue commitments. Champion customer-first strategies which leverage Cisco’s core secure networking technologies to enable new business outcomes for the customer.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience managing complex, large-scale accounts within the hyperscaler segment.
- Deep technical knowledge of secure networking portfolios, including switching, wireless, and routing.
- Proven track record of managing long-term, complex sales cycles ranging from 3 to 18+ months.
- Proficiency in CRM tools for pipeline management, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Experience leading executive-level engagements and negotiating multi-million dollar contracts.

- Strong consultative approach to balancing commercial, legal, and technical requirements.
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders and bridge the gap between product management and customer needs.
- Expertise in interpreting competitive landscapes to provide strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional skill in facilitating cross-functional collaboration across legal, finance, and operations.

Pay
The starting salary range posted for this position is $269,300.00 to $360,800.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.

U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco’s plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time. U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies: 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees, 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco.
