Account Executive – Hydronic Equipment Sales

Job Summary

CFM Company seeks a Commercial HVAC Equipment Sales Executive with at least 5+ years of sales and leadership experience. This role involves selling commercial HVAC equipment and systems to various stakeholders including owners, engineers, architects, contractors, and consultants. Key responsibilities include building long-term customer relationships, influencing system design, providing technical support, and managing projects from design to execution.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical expertise to develop credibility and trust with customers
• Determines project needs and constraints to meet customer requirements
• Writes, presents, and communicates bids effectively
• Negotiates value and closes sales
• Influences system design and solutions with customers
• Develops and maintains relationships with manufacturers and other stakeholders
• Supports accounts receivable collection process
• Collaborates with the sales team to develop winning strategies
• Assists in the development of the sales team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 5+ years of HVAC, mechanical contracting, engineering, or construction industry experience
• Experience working with consulting engineers and contractors strongly preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment applications
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to influence design decisions and develop trusted customer relationships
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, deal with ambiguity, and manage high-volume projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
