VersaBadge is on a mission to transform healthcare operations with innovative Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS). Since 2016, we’ve focused on serving rural healthcare, making location-aware technology accessible to facilities often overlooked due to cost and complexity. Today, we support over 250 hospitals and clinics across the U.S., enhancing financial health, compliance, caregiver safety, and workforce efficiency. We’re expanding into the behavioral healthcare market and seeking talented individuals with experience in this sector to guide our growth.

This role is fully remote and open to candidates in the USA only.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to drive pipeline and sales initiatives for assigned territories within the behavioral healthcare market. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, you will proactively seek new leads, position our offerings, and achieve ambitious sales goals. You’ll represent VersaBadge at conferences, build and nurture client and partner relationships, and cultivate referrals to propel business growth. This role requires a multi-faceted approach, combining sales and marketing initiatives in the behavioral healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Build and expand client relationships by proactively establishing connections with new prospects and nurturing existing clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through independent research and industry insights, focusing on expanding non-radio revenue.
  • Lead pipeline development to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Drive targeted marketing initiatives to support demand generation and brand awareness in the behavioral healthcare market.
  • Act as the primary client advocate, addressing needs promptly to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute client-centric initiatives aimed at driving engagement, awareness, or sales.
  • Contribute to product strategy by relaying client feedback to internal teams for ongoing enhancements and new product development.
  • Partner with marketing to develop tailored campaigns and innovative product positioning based on client insights.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to increase market visibility and client engagement.

Requirements

  • Proven success in sales, marketing, or client-facing roles, or relevant clinical experience in behavioral health with an interest in transitioning into sales.
  • Strong understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) sales processes, lead generation strategies, and sales funnel management.
  • Experience contributing to content creation such as sales decks, email templates, case studies, patient or client education materials, or marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish credibility, and translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize competing demands effectively.
  • Comfort with CRM systems (Salesforce or HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and G Suite tools, or demonstrated ability to quickly adopt new technology platforms.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for conferences, site visits, and client meetings.
