Account Executive – End User Sales

About the Role
We are seeking a Commercial HVAC Equipment Sales Executive with at least 5+ years of sales and leadership experience. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence system design and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate technical expertise to develop credibility and trust with customers
- Determine project needs and constraints to meet customer requirements
- Write, present, and communicate bids effectively
- Negotiate value and close sales
- Influence system design and solutions with customers
- Create competitive, high-quality estimates and proposals
- Manage multiple projects, focusing on HVAC equipment, service, and systems
- Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers and customers
- Support accounts receivable collection
- Collaborate with the sales team and internal support teams
- Develop winning sales strategies
- Assist in the development of the sales team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 5+ years of HVAC, mechanical contracting, engineering, or construction industry experience
- Experience working with consulting engineers and contractors strongly preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment applications
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence design decisions and develop trusted customer relationships
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, deal with ambiguity, and manage high-volume projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
