M Booth is a dynamic agency committed to creating culturally resonant campaigns that drive action. Founded 40 years ago, we are part of Next 15, a global holding company with a network spanning over 30 markets. Our Corporate Affairs team is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team.

About the role

The Account Executive will work closely with the Corporate Affairs team, contributing to and driving key client initiatives. They will be responsible for proactive media outreach, client communication, and supporting influencer programming.

Responsibilities

  • Drive proactive media outreach and secure impactful coverage across top-tier outlets while cultivating strong relationships with key media contacts.
  • Proactively anticipate client needs, offering strategic insights, culture-driven trends, and forward-thinking solutions beyond direct requests.
  • Co-lead client calls, owning key discussion points, agendas, and subsequent team deliverables.
  • Help oversee all daily client communications (including emails and Slack) in partnership with account leads, ensuring clear, concise, and professional messaging.
  • Develop comprehensive media materials, including communications strategies, press releases, tailored pitches, and client presentations.
  • Help support influencer programming, including roster vetting, brief development, and program execution.
  • Oversee account tracking, reporting, and program metrics.
  • Review junior team members' deliverables and provide ongoing mentorship.
  • Participate in new business development as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in public relations or integrated communications (agency experience preferred).
  • Proven hands-on experience executing both traditional PR campaigns and influencer marketing programs.
  • Culturally dialed-in, chronically online, voracious consumer of media with a deep understanding of corporate, B2B, and consumer storytelling; ability to translate complex, technical material into compelling media hooks.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple tight deadlines across accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking campaign results and a proven track record of excellent client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay

$56,000 - $65,000 (New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.)

Schedule

Hybrid (Located in the NYC HUB with Be IRL 2 Days/Week)
