Account Executive, Business Insurance

About the role

MMA provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals. As an Account Executive on the Business Insurance team, you will manage relationships with clients, prospects, client teams, and producers to provide best-in-class service and drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations to clients and prospects.
  • Negotiate coverage and pricing with insurance carriers.
  • Create and prepare proposals for clients.
  • Resolve billing issues for clients.
  • Mentor Client Service Associates in developing policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum seven (7) + years’ experience in Business Insurance.
  • Property & Casualty license.
  • Insurance designations (CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU) or equivalent knowledge and ability.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Experience with Non-Profit, Education, Social Services clients.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using Sagitta, ImageRight, Epic (plus other software).

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Pay

The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,400 to $172,100. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
