At OutSystems, we are accelerating digital transformation globally by empowering organizations to build enterprise-grade applications quickly and efficiently. As our presence in Southeast Asia—specifically the Philippines—grows rapidly, we are seeking a highly driven and strategic Account Executive focused on the BFSI sector to join our team in Manila.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively hunt for new business and secure new logos within the SMB and Mid-Market BFSI space across the Philippines.
- Map prospective accounts, deeply understanding their organizational structure, key decision-makers, and existing technology stack.
- Cultivate trust-based relationships—a cornerstone of Philippine business culture. Engage with C-level executives in targeted prospect accounts and orchestrate discussions centered around their specific business needs and regulatory environments.
- Demonstrate verbally, in writing, and through collaborative product demos how prospective customers can capture value, modernize legacy processes, and envision their future with OutSystems.
- Meet and exceed targets by effectively managing opportunities and pipeline health through a complex enterprise sales cycle. Negotiate for success while overcoming objections.
- Strategically advocate for platform upgrades and formulate comprehensive growth plans for existing accounts.
- Partner seamlessly with Solution Architects to provide technical product overviews and insights pertinent to customer needs and usage scenarios.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of quota-carrying sales experience, specifically selling into the SMB/Mid-Market space within the Philippines. Experience selling into the BFSI sector is highly preferred.
- A solid understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging IT trends. The capacity to learn and retain knowledge about complex IT products and solutions quickly.
- A proven track record of recognizing the stages in the buying cycle for prospects and effectively managing a customer relationship through to success. Background in prospecting to IT decision-makers is required.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Proven ability to handle objections, navigate roadblocks, and negotiate effectively via phone, email, video, and in-person presentations.
- A deep understanding of the Philippine business culture, emphasizing relationship-building, trust, and long-term partnership development.
- An achievement- and success-driven personality, motivated by performance rewards. Solid time management skills and the ability to work independently with a high level of integrity in a competitive environment.
