About the role

The Account Executive manages and coordinates agency resources to meet account needs, acting as the daily internal contact. They ensure projects are completed on time, on specification, within scope, and on budget, while providing planning and documentation. The role involves ensuring support, information, and knowledge from competencies are delivered effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the internal contact for account needs; fulfill daily client and internal team requests and ensure projects are executed to plan.
  • Coordinate with team members to monitor progress, adjust as needed, proactively identify issues, and assist in resolution.
  • Keep the account team updated on status; produce communication materials (contact reports, status updates) for internal and external teams.
  • Gather database-related work specifications from clients or team members; provide clear written specifications on inputs, outputs, processes, and quality assurance.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of the client’s business and competitive environment; contribute to competitive tracking projects.
  • Develop positive, partnering relationships with all team members.
  • Oversee the accuracy and quality of agency deliverables; assist with quality assurance and final checks.
  • Track and reconcile costs in the billing system; handle revenue forecasting at the project level.
  • Schedule and lead project status meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting outcomes.
  • Assist in building a positive culture.
  • Maintain proficiency with Targetbase tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience.
  • Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in marketing/advertising agencies, professional services firms, or in-house digital marketing teams (internships count).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and set priorities.
  • Aptitude for relationship development and client-facing responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Enthusiasm for direct-to-consumer marketing and interest in the creative/production process.
  • General understanding of customer experience principles.
  • Exposure or interest in relational database/CRM technology (highly preferred).
  • Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Experience supporting presentation layout/design.
  • Overtime as necessary.
  • Travel as necessary.
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office (Irving, TX) and 2 days remote; candidates must be local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
