Account Executive
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to capture new market share and consistently exceed growth targets across the Western US territory.
- Lead high-level client transitions from traditional models into cloud-based, subscription software solutions by articulating clear commercial value.
- Cultivate and deepen long-term strategic relationships with key enterprise shippers and carriers to guarantee customer success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and product development teams to share vital competitive market insights and fuel product innovation.
- Command sales presentations, prepare custom proposals, and represent Trimble solutions live at major industry trade shows and executive client meetings.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven track record of success in enterprise sales and account management within the transportation, logistics, or technology sectors.
- Strong technical and business understanding of cloud-based architecture and the value proposition of SaaS subscription models.
- Exceptional communication, contract negotiation, and executive presentation skills with a history of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Professional proficiency using Salesforce CRM and modern workspace collaboration tools.
Bonus Points
- Specialized experience selling enterprise software solutions specifically into the trucking, fleet management, or logistics market.
- Prior familiarity with Trimble Transportation's product portfolio or the broader transportation technology landscape.
