About the role

The Manistee News Advocate is seeking a digitally savvy Account Executive to join our advertising team. This role involves developing and managing a sales pipeline, building new business relationships, and working with customers to promote compelling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and prospecting
• Own the sales cycle and work with your local account management team
• Implement marketing strategies and deliver effective sales presentations
• Create engaging advertising solutions to solve clients' business needs
• Recommend new products and promotional opportunities to current clients
• Manage client pipeline and monthly revenue forecast in Salesforce.com

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or Communications (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of business-to-business outside sales experience in advertising or media
• Superior presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Goal-oriented, competitive, and forward-thinking with strong business and financial acumen

Pay

Competitive base salary with uncapped commissions for unlimited earning potential.
