About the role
As an Account Executive at Strac, you will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to demo, negotiation, and close. This is not a typical quota-carrying role in a mature company; it’s a chance to join as a seller in a category-defining cybersecurity startup. Your work will directly shape how enterprises think about securing sensitive data in the age of SaaS and AI.
Responsibilities
- Own pipeline creation and management — source prospects through outbound efforts and manage inbound interest.
- Lead discovery conversations with CISOs, security, compliance, and IT leaders to understand their data protection challenges.
- Deliver tailored product demos that showcase Strac’s ability to prevent leaks, reduce false positives, and simplify compliance.
- Run the full sales process from qualification through pricing, negotiation, and signed agreement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SDRs, marketing, and product teams to refine messaging, address objections, and accelerate deals.
- Provide structured feedback from the field to shape Strac’s go-to-market motion and product roadmap.
- Consistently hit and exceed targets for meetings, pipeline, and closed revenue, with the opportunity to grow into senior sales leadership as the team scales.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or data infrastructure.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn distribution best practices.
- A background in writing, blogging, or creating ranked/converted content.
