Why the Account Executive Position?

The Account Executive position is a leading sales role with one of fintech's most prominent brands. The ideal candidate will work with innovative companies to help them understand the potential of raising capital on StartEngine.

Responsibilities

  • Convert interested companies raising capital to StartEngine clients.
  • Develop and execute strategy to increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
  • Develop book of business partially derived from one’s own lead generation efforts.
  • Leverage connections to access high-potential companies.
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with company's mission statement.
  • Track and publish weekly reports using quantitative results.

What We're Looking For

  • FINRA registrations preferred (Series 7 & 63). If not, a willingness to study for and pass the exams.
  • Proven ability to self-generate leads and source opportunities.
  • Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and early-stage companies.
  • Track record of success in a closing-focused sales role.
  • Background in the financial services sector required.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-energy, and collaborative environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with consistent achievement or overperformance of targets.
  • Composed, solution-oriented problem solver with a professional, service-focused approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required.
