Account Executive
Day AI is the AI-native system of record for customer relationships—the successor to CRM. It equips every go-to-market team member with AI agents that operate under standing roles, grounded in a shared memory of every call, email, and conversation the company has ever had. The platform re-integrates fragmented CRM categories—customer memory, agent platform, skills automation, analytics, knowledge management, and developer surface—into one production-ready system. Founded by Christopher O'Donnell, who built HubSpot’s Marketing, Sales, Service, and Data Hubs, Day AI has raised a $20M Series A led by Sequoia and is already powering hundreds of companies to run their GTM teams agentically.
About the role
You’ll be one of the first people bringing Day AI’s production-ready system to market at scale. Your buyer is a founder or CEO who has already embraced the agent-era worldview and is deciding whether to build or buy. Your job is to make the choice obvious. You’ll convert inbound demand while building your own pipeline into VC-backed companies with 50+ employees, handling the full cycle with no handoffs and no committee between you and the decision-maker. This is an early role at a company with real product, real customers, and a category still being defined—those who close deals here will shape how Day AI goes to market.
Responsibilities
- Own the full cycle from prospecting through close
- Manage a high-volume pipeline with short cycles and consistent throughput
- Manage and grow the existing customer base, driving retention, expansion, and long-term customer value
- Help define ICP, sharpen the pitch, and build the framework we scale from
- Feed market intelligence back to the team and influence product direction
- Document what works so we can ramp the next AE faster
Requirements
- Volume is fuel for you, not something you are tolerating
- You use AI deeply and habitually, not experimentally
- You build your own process and push back when something is not working
- You have made non-obvious career moves and taken real risks
- You figure things out without being told how and move fast without waiting for the infrastructure to be ready
- You want to win and do not need anyone to manufacture that for you
Qualifications
- Full-cycle AE or senior BDR experience in a transactional or SMB motion with real volume
- A quota attainment record you can speak to with specifics, not just percentages
- Experience selling to technical or AI-native buyers
- Time at an early-stage company where you had to build before you could sell
