Account Executive
Role Description
As an Account Executive, you will represent Safety National in a professional manner that aligns with the goals and objectives of the company while supporting the Business Development Department. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between brokers and underwriting partners, advocating for each to drive new business, cross-sell opportunities, and renewal success within your assigned territory. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute complex territory strategies, strengthen broker relationships, and increase Safety National’s market presence.
Qualifications
Education: A degree is required.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 or more years of commercial insurance or related industry experience
- Experience with Workers’ Compensation and casualty insurance products
- Strong working knowledge of the insurance broker network within an assigned territory
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently (approximately 50% or more)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and sales database software such as Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success managing and growing a defined sales territory
- Experience collaborating closely with underwriting and service teams
- Experience representing an insurance carrier at industry conferences and events
Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction and/or alteration, in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and procedures.
Pay
The target base salary range for this position is $133,000 to $172,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
