Account Executive

About the role
Applies expertise in professional sales to achieve results by selling products and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge. This role focuses on maintaining sales volume from existing customers while generating incremental growth and new business development via telephone. Works closely with Region Manager, Area Manager, and independent representatives on strategic initiatives. This is a remote-eligible position in the following states: AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, LA, MA, MN, NH, NJ, NC, RI, TN, TX, VI, WI, and Washington DC.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound sales calls to existing customers to develop relationships and generate revenue.
- Maintain call volume, phone time, and contacts in accordance with activity goals.
- Follow up on sales leads and meet monthly objectives.
- Conduct and close sales presentations and product demos via telephone and online.
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments affecting target markets.
- Participate in new product launch activities.
- Answer technical and product-related questions from customers and prospects.
- Maintain a high level (90%) of technical and customer service knowledge, including industry, product, competitive, systems, and order entry processing.
- Collaborate with operations and R&D staff to establish clear communication paths with customers.
- Set day-to-day operational objectives and ensure work is performed within existing policies and procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, compliance, and confidentiality while adhering to Össur values of Honesty, Frugality, and Courage.
Requirements
- Vocational or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of education.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a vocational degree.

Pay
The US base pay range for this full-time position is $54,538 - $67,397 plus bonus and benefits. Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay based on job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
